RV Rental for Gerlach, NV (Week previous to labor) Rental Application

PAYMENT/DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION

One half of the rental down payment is due at booking. This is non-refundable. The balance of the reservation is due 30 days prior to the departure. Reservations not prepaid 30 days in advance will be cancelled with no refund. This rate includes normal cleaning charges. Anything other than “normal” cleaning will be charged at our regular cleaning rate of $125 per hour. Smoking or pet hair is not included and will be considered damage.

All RV Rentals for Gerlach require a $1500 Security/Damage Deposit. All other Terms and Conditions apply. Classic Adventures accepts Cash, Cashiers Checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. The actual credit card in the renters name must be present at departure. Company Checks or Personal Checks are not accepted unless prepaid 30 days in advance. We also will require a credit card signed imprint voucher for ALL rentals.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. The person named on the RESERVATION APPLICATION must be 25 years of age and is the only person authorized to sign our rental agreement and drive the vehicle off our lot.
2. Classic Adventures reserves the right to substitute a vehicle of equal or greater value, or refund your down payment due to unavailability of the vehicle.
3. NO refund will be issued if you return the motorhome prior to your scheduled return date.
4. The rental vehicle is not permitted into Mexico or Alaska or in areas where communications by phone or cellular phone is not available.
5. Smoking of any type is prohibited.
6. Towing of any type is prohibited unless approved prior to pick up.
7. Generally, all vehicles will be available for pick up only after 1:00 PM and any departure available by 4:00 PM is considered on time.
8. Vehicles must be returned prior to 11:00 AM
9. Any additional drivers must have a clean driving record, be at least 25 years old, and be present at the time of departure with their valid driver’s license available.
10. If you are providing your own Insurance binder and your deductable is more than $500, the security deposit must match the deductable

PICKUP AND RETURN CONDITIONS

1. A security deposit of $1,500 along WITH 50% of the rental cost is due at time of booking reservation. Security deposits ARE fully refundable for units that are returned with NO damage and DO NOT require excess cleaning. Playa dust is NOT considered damage, Dust cleaning has already been included in your the rental costs.
2. The final half of the balance due is due one month (30 days) prior to the departure date. All completed paperwork is due prior to the final payment, or the reservation will be forfeited.
3. By filling out this application you are acknowledging that you understand Burning Man rental requirements are different than that of any other rentals at Classic Adventures. It is the customer’s responsibility to contact our rental office to go over the different guidelines for Burning Man rentals. Classic Adventures staff will also go over pick up/check in procedures with you at time of booking as they are different than our normal rentals. Please contact one of our staff members with any questions you may have.

Again, if you must cancel your Burning Man reservation you will forfeit the rental cost that have been charged and only be refunded the $1500 security deposit.
