Trips less than 5 nights cannot be accepted until 2 weeks prior to departure. There is always a 5 night minimum on travel trailers, And 4 night minimum on motorhomes(some Special events may have more per night minimums). Cargo and utility trailers have a 1 day/night minimum when open. All vehicles and trailers cannot be returned during closed hours and must be paid through the following business day.
All rates include 100 free miles per night. 1st 1000 extra miles @ .34 per mile. Next 1000 miles @ .75 per mile. Any additional miles after free and next 2000 @ 1.05 per mile.
Upon booking your reservation you will be charged a $250.00 deposit which is applied towards your rental charges. Trailers require a $500.00 deposit and Motorhome require $1000.00. Your Security deposit is fully refundable as long as there is no damage. Upon return, all extra charges, if any, are balanced against the damage deposit and the full or remaining balance will be credited back within 10 business days of the unit return date You may prepay by check by ONLY by mailing it in to our office at least 14 days in advance to your pickup date.
If you are providing your own insurance binder and your deductible is more than $500 the security deposit must match the deductible
All RVs come with a generator and include 5 hours of usage per rental night. A charge of $5.00 per hour applies for any additional usage. With the exception of Toy haulers, Trailer rentals do not come with a generator. We do have generators for rent:
- Trailers up to 26 ft. are $60.00 per rental night
- Trailers from 26’ ft and up – $70.00 a night
If you wish to rent a generator please inform the office before your rental departure date.
Mileage depends on the size of the Motorhome as well as the driving conditions. Generally, you will get between 7- 10 miles per gallon. Our 23″ Specialty Diesel unit can get up to 16 MPG.
All you need is to be 25 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license. No special endorsement is needed. The Diesel Pusher #26 requires a Class B endorsement.
Pickups are between 1pm and 4pm Monday through Friday by appointment and on Saturday by appointment only.
Motorhomes handle much like a car, especially the “C” class units which have a van chassis.
No. At departure you will be given a 30-60 minute familiarization tour and learn how to hook it up and operate the appliances.
Yes, All the kitchen ware and bedding and towels are provided.
There is an AM/FM stereo with a CD player in the dash. There is also a TV, DVD, inside the motorhome.
Yes, with approval.
US registered RV’s may enter Canada and return to the US without problem.
You must travel round trip.
We require that all payments be made with a major credit card unless prepaid 14 days in advance by check. Nevertheless, we require a major credit card be left on file with an imprint and signature.
A $95.00 tow fee is required to use the hitch for towing (1500 pound max) The motorhomes are only equipped with a receiver hitch, so you would need to provide your own tow bar.
Campground rates vary based on time of year and what facilities they offer. Generally you can expect to pay between $10 and $50 per night.
A partial list of commonly found facilities would include: electric, water, sewer hook-ups, washer, dryer, swimming pool, playground, BBQ pits, on-site convenience store.
Yes. You may not travel into Mexico. Also, Death Valley and other desert areas are not allowed during the hot months. Vehicles are not allowed on logging or other non-public roads such as the Apache Trail in Arizona.
No refunds will be made for early returns.
No, we do not recommend this. It is difficult to know if the water is potable when you fill the tank at a variety of locations. We recommend you use bottled water for drinking and cooking. The water from the tank is fine for washing and bathing.
If you are in an accident you must first call the police department, then Classic Adventures RV and finally your insurance company. We require a police report for ALL accidents.
Inside your motorhome you will find a binder with all unit information and the after emergency phone numbers.
Yes, but we do not allow access on the roof for safety reasons and to prevent damage to the motorhome.
Bike racks are available upon request to motorhome renters.
All of the Class A’s have leveling jacks.
If the reservation is canceled 30 days or more before the scheduled departure date, the entire $250 deposit is refunded minus a $75 administrative fee. If the reservation is canceled within 30 days of departure date then no refund can be granted.
Cancellation of certain events such as Black Rock Festival have special cancellation policies. Please refer to your rental agreement or contact a Classic Adventures staff member if you have any questions.
